Late 1950s - early 1960s blue and white gingham cotton dress. It has a rounded neckline with an embroidered front yoke, complete with tiny white lace flower detail, each with a small diamante at its centre. The front of the dress is cut in a V panel, which creates the suggestion of an even smaller waist. The mid section is finished with a narrow gingham fabric belt, in typical 50s fashion, and the dress fastens on the left hand side with the original metal zipper. The skirt is flared and pleated at the hip to create volume and also has pockets, which is always an added bonus for any garment! The dress is in superb vintage condition, with no issues to note. It would best fit a size UK 8-10 or US 4-6.
